An introduction to Digestive Atta
"...what is digestive atta?"
Digestive atta is whole wheat flour that is manufactured on a separate line as bran flakes are added to increase the fibre content.
"...what is bran flakes?"
Bran flakes are the outer layer or husk of the wheat grain. Much of it is often separated during milling. It is a great source of fibre and minerals which is crucial for digestive health.
"...your atta has a low GI of 49.
What does that mean?"
Glycemic Index or GI rank how quickly blood sugar levels are increased after consuming foods containing carbs. 55 or less is considered low GI (the lower, the slower). High GI (70-100) foods causes fast spike in blood sugar levels.
